Munich Airport Layover Tour – Freising
Duration: flexible · approx. 2–4 hours (depending on flight schedule)
Designed for travelers with a longer layover at Munich Airport.
This private tour makes use of your stopover to explore Freising, one of Bavaria’s oldest towns, located just minutes from the airport.
The walk typically includes Freising’s historic old town, the cathedral hill, and riverside areas, with a focus on Bavarian history, local identity, and providing context beyond Munich itself.
Depending on available time and interests, the tour can be extended – for example with a relaxed stop at a traditional beer garden near the Weihenstephan Brewery, or a longer cultural walk through the town.
